Oshogbo - The Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) in Osun State chapter has said that the state’s new education policy could raise terrorism, reports Daily Post
CAN in a statement signed by its Chairman, Elisha Ogundiye said that they were not fighting the Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, but were only defending the Christian faith.
The chairman said that the new policy on education led to the attack on some teachers and pupils of Baptist High School, Ejigbo, by some Muslim youth on Monday, 25th November, 2013.
Ogundiye said that the reclassification of schools by the new policy was capable of breeding insurgency in the mold of Boko Haram.
