Lagos - A leading commercial sex worker in the country, Patoo Abraham led other commercial sex workers in a protest demanding for respect and legality of their trade, Information Nigeria reports.
The 48 year old sex worker who heads the Nigerian chapter of African Sex Workers Alliance (ASWA), said they want to be able to practise their profession with pride like every other person and put an end to name-calling and stigmatisation.
She said the main reason why the commercial sex work trade is striving in the country is because of the problem of unemployment among the youths.
