Osogbo - The Public Complaints Commission in Osun said on Friday it resolved about 597 complaints out of 841 received in 2012.
The organisation's Commissioner in the state, Prof. Razaq Abubakre, announced this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Osogbo.
According to him, 407 complaints, including a few others carried over from the previous years, are still being investigated.
“The commission also recovered a total of N1.8 million on behalf of complainants from various complaints.
“The complaints were at absolutely no cost to the complainants and the respondents in line with the law establishing the commission,” he said.
He commended the state government for ensuring a just, egalitarian and even development, thereby reducing complaints from the citizenry to the commission.
