Commissioner, 5 special advisers sworn in Katsina

Katsina - Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State on Friday sworn-in a commissioner and four Special Advisers.

Those sworn-in are Adamu Mato as Commissioner for Rural and Social Development, Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammad, Special Adviser to the governor on Poverty Alleviation and Nasiru Danmusa, Special Adviser on Small and Medium Enterprises.

Others are AbdulHamid Kankara, Assembly Matters, Yahaya Galadima, Inter and Intra-party Affairs and Lawal Musa, political.

Speaking at the occasion in Katsina, the governor said the appointees were selected based on their past records.

He, therefore, urged them to discharge their duties with transparency, honesty and dedication.

The governor also called on them to always contact people at the grassroot to know their needs for  the government to able to meet their demands.   

He urged people in the state to support the government to enable it attain the desired goals.
