Abuja - The Director-General, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Benjamin Dikki, said the Contributory Pension Scheme, has increased to N4.7tn, Punch reports.
Dikki made the disclosure when a delegation led by the Ambassador of the European Union to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States, Michel Arrion, visited him.

He said over 6.5 million people working for 180 586 employers have registered as contributors under the scheme.
A total fund under the CPS was over N4.7tn while 20 Pension Fund Administrators, seven Closed Pension Fund Administrators and four Pension Fund Custodians had so far been registered since the scheme began in 2004.
