Oyo - A Federal High Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, has mandated the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba to investigate alleged criminal activities levelled against the paramount ruler of Oyo State, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Punch reports.
The applicants, Jacob Oluokun and Sulaimon Ishola, had prayed the court to compel the IGP to investigate the ruler in a petition submitted to the IGP dated March 18, 2014 and delivered to the IG on April 17, 2014.

The Chief Press Secretary to the traditional ruler, Azeez Fehintola, said the ruling was not unexpected as the defendant was not culpable.
