Abuja - The Crminal Justice Bill has been passed by the Senate which will help to protect the rights and interests of criminal suspects, Punch reported.
According to Senate, Umaru Dahiru, the bill will be merged and consolidated with the Criminal Procedure Code of the North and Southern parts of the country.

He further expressed the bill still needs to be signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan and will promote the management of criminal justice institutions.
The country's justice system is said will be going a long way by Senate President, David Mark, with the bill repositioning the system.
