Wife accused of killing husband on Valentine's Day

23 February 2015, 11:11

Abuja - Residents in the Otto Awori Local Council Development Area of Lagos State have been left confused after the death of a husband, allegedly at the hands of his wife, on Valentine's Day.

The incident, which is said to have occurred following an argument between the couple, resulted in the man being pushed from the balcony of a one-storey building, PUNCH reports.

The deceased, identified only as George, is alleged to have been pronounced dead upon arrival at a medical facility. Upon inspection by a doctor, the man was suspected to have been killed through a blow to the head before he was thrown from the balcony.
