Abuja - The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, has tasked the personnel to remain committed, resolute and firm in the discharge of their duties.
Muhammadu was addressing the personnel shortly after the successful pulling-out ceremony of his predecessor, Dr Ade Abolurin.
Abdullahi assured the personnel of his desire to build on the existing structure laid by his former boss in taking the Corps higher to the next level.
He stressed that his main priority is staff welfare in order to motivate the personnel to discharge their duty effectively.

Abdullahi further stated that in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s drive in tackling corruption, his administration would ensure zero tolerance to graft by using effectively the Anti-Corruption Units bearing in line with the Corps slogan “Collect Bribe and Die, Compromise and be Kidnapped.”
He reiterated that the President is poised to take the Corps to an enviable height, therefore, personnel should not relent in carrying out their assigned duties to the fullest especially in the fight against vandalism, illegal bunkering, oil theft and protection of critical national infrastructure.
Abdullahi reassured the personnel of his commitment to the service of the nation and the growth of the Corps.
