Imo - A former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Premium Times reports.
Ohakim was arrested at his residence in Asokoro district of Abuja after an invitation had been sent to him which he declined.

Operatives of the anti-graft agency have been on his trail for days but were later able to invade his residence on Thursday.
Ohakim is currently being remanded at the commission’s headquarters for proper interrogations concerning a number of property allegedly traced to him.Ohakim was governor of Imo state between 2007 and 2011.
