Lagos - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has begun a six week programme to train its senior cadets.
The training is ongoing at the EFCC Academy in Karu, Abuja.
According to the agency, the training course, which entails rigorous physical exercises, course work and mental training, will be conducted both within and outside the academy.

Secretary to the EFCC, Emmanuel Aremu charged the officers to uphold the values of honesty, hard work and dedication to duty.
Commandant of the EFCC Academy, Ayo Olowonihi, charged the cadets to make enquiries in order to avoid running foul of the law.
“They should always look, listen and learn as a way of staying competitive in their chosen fields,” he said.
Olowonihi also assured the new cadets of a smooth stay at the academy but stressed the fact that culprits who broke the law would be punished.
