14 January 2013, 10:34

Kaduna - The EFCC says it is set to arraign Mato Dogara, the Deputy Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly on Monday over an alleged N17 million scam.

This is contained in a statement by EFCC spokesperson, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, on Sunday in Lagos.

It stated that Dogara would be arraigned before a Federal High Court, Kaduna.

The statement said that the suspect would be arraigned alongside two others.

They are Kabiru Malali and Ahmed Yahaya, former Chairman and Treasurer of Lere Local Government of the state respectively.

The statement said the suspects would be arraigned on a six-count charge, including contract over invoicing and criminal diversion of funds.

``Dogara is a former Chairman of Lere Local Government and had also served as commissioner in the state," the statement stated.
