Lagos - The health status of a sister to the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, is causing controversy as reports suggest that she tested positive to the deadly Ebola Virus Disease, Vanguard reports.
A family source and reports on social media, had alleged that the woman tested positive to the virus but the the Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the Minister of Health, Dan Nwomeh dismissed the report.

The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu stated in Abuja on Monday stated that the official number of confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease including the index (first) case in the country is 13 and not 14 as earlier announced.
The late Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, a Senior Consultant and Endocrinologist, had unknowingly contracted the disease in the process of treating the Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer, who was the index patient of Ebola in Nigeria.
