Kaduna - Palpable fear gripped residents and road users along the ever busy Ribadu Road in Kaduna on Thursday as a former counsellorship aspirant in the state slumped and died while walking on the road.
The incident caused commotion as people ran for safety thinking the man might have died of Ebola, reports NewsDay.
His corpse was left in the heavy rain for almost seven hours.
It took the intervention of men of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corp (NCDC), who also summoned courage, before the corpse was removed from the road.
The corpse was deposited at the State’s mortuary in the metropolis.
The deceased brother, Nuhu Dogo has ,however , debunked the allegation that his late brother must have died of Ebola infection as being speculated across the town.
