Edo - A Benin High Court has restrained the four Edo lawmakers suspended on Monday from gaining entrance into the premises of the Assembly and the legislative quarters, Vanguard reports.
The suspended lawmakers are the Deputy Speaker, Festus Ebea, Patrick Osayimwen, Jude Ise-Idehen and Friday Ogieriakhi.
In his reaction to the restraining order, the state chairman of PDP, Dan Orbih, described it as an abuse of the judicial process, adding that the party had filed a notice of appeal and a stay of execution on the restraining order.
