Kaduna - Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State has threatened to sue the Union newspapers over a story in which the paper claimed the governor declared N90 billion as his asset, reports Premium Times.
The governor described the report as the work of irresponsible hacks.
The governor in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Samuel Aruwan said the story was a sheer blackmail as it emanated from a rumour.

He noted that he has directed his legal team to enforce his rights and protect his reputation.
The Union newspapers had in its Thursday edition claimed that El- Rufai had declared that he owns 40 mansions and he is worth N90 billion.
