Others are replacement and relocation of damaged water risers and distribution mains.

He said the rehabilitation would be done through direct labour by the state water corporation.

The commissioner said Governor Sullivan Chime used the occasion to commend the people of the state for voting massively for candidates of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) from the state during the elections.

"The state was not just the only one in the South East to deliver 100 per cent but it delivered 100 per cent without rancour," he added.
