Fake pastor arrested over alleged N10m fraud

Lagos -  A fake pastor, identified as Chibuzor Nnaegbo, has been arrested by the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, for allegedly defrauding four businessmen in Lagos, Vanguard reports.

Pastor Chibuzor who claimed to be in Israel reportedly used a coded MTN number to call his victim pretending to be in Israel. Among his victims is one Nzeh Remigius and three others.

The suspect, an indigene of Anambra state, who deceived his victims by telling them that he had issues in Israel where he was trying to set up a church, claimed to have sowed the proceeds from the fraud in two mega churches in Lagos.

The self-acclaimed pastor whose phone was filled with pornographic pictures, was arrested in his hideout at Igando, after one of the victims got suspicious of the incessant demands from the so called man of God who was in Israel.
