Lagos - Lagos lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) has asked the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Suleiman Abba to resign over the withdrawal of the security details of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, Nation reports.
He accused the police boss of partisan politics, subversion of the constitution, the Police Act and the Electoral Act to the detriment of law and order in the country.

Falana in a letter written to the police boss threatened to file a suit before a Federal High Court to determine the competence and suitability of Abba to superintend and manage the Nigeria Police Force in the public interest, if the trend of subverting the Constitution, the Police Act and the Electoral Act continues unabated.
