Lagos - Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has denied claims by an online news site that he said Nigerians deserved the frequent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents, Premium Times reports.
Fani-Kayode in a statement by his Special Assistant, Jude Ndukwe, said that it is mischievous and malicious to attribute such statement to him.
He stressed that in the last few years, he has been one of the loudest and most strident voices against Boko Haram in the country.

An online news platform Premium Times had reported that the former minister stated on his Facebook page that Nigeria deserves the recent Boko Haram onslaught for rejecting former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He challenged anyone that doubts the veracity of our contention to go and read his write-up on his Facebook wall and point out where President Jonathan’s name was mentioned and they should also point out where he wrote that ”Nigerians deserve Boko Haram”.
