Lagos - Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, has condemned the plan by the Federal Government to increase duties on imported vehicles, Punch reports.
Fashola while speaking during a meeting with taxi and cab operators in the state at Agidingbin, Ikeja, said the proposed 35 percent increase has no justification and would stifle transport operations in the country.
The governor said the decision of the Federal Government would hinder transport operators from acquiring new vehicles, which he said, could improve their services to residents.
