Lagos - A fire outbreak has destroyed about 300 cabins occupied by sex workers and other residents of Small Kuramo, Jakande, in Ajah area of Lagos State on Thursday, Punch reports.
Hundreds of residents were also rendered homeless by the inferno which consumed over 300 bolt up buildings in the community as effort by men of the Lagos State Fire Service to extinguish the fire was frustrated by the residents who were angry at their slow response to the incident.

It was learnt that property estimated at millions of naira were lost to the inferno which occurred a day after another fire outbreak destroyed properties, valuable items and rendered hundreds of people homeless at Ijeh Police Barracks at Obalende, Lagos.
