Abuja - A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, Abuja, has acquitted a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Vincent Ogbulafor of N176m contract scam allegations, Punch reports.
The second accused person, Emeka Ebila, was however convicted for the same fraud allegation after his absence from court on two previous occasions stalled the delivery of the judgment.

Ogbulafor, the then Minister of Special Duties and Ebila, member and secretary of National Economic Intelligence Committee are being prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission for offences allegedly committed in March 2001.
