Lagos - Four more victims of the deadly Ebola virus have recovered and been discharged from the Ebola Emergency Treatment Centre in Lagos, Premium Times reports.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, who revealed that said three of the patients – two male doctors and a female nurse – participated in the treatment of the first victim, Patrick Sawyer, while the fourth patient was a female patient at the First Consultant Hospital at the time Sawyer was admitted.
The Ebola virus had so far killed four people in Nigeria and 1 229 people in just three days worldwide, bringing the global death toll to 1 229, the World Health Organization said.
