Lagos - An Ikeja High Court has sentenced a stockbroker, Ayoola Coker, to 30 years imprisonment for defrauding two of his clients N17.5 million worth of shares, PM News reports.
The presiding judge found him guilty on all the 15 counts brought against him. These include stealing, issuance of dud cheques and forgery. The counts were brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The accused was consequently sentenced to two years imprisonment on each of the counts and the sentences will run concurrently.
