Lagos - The widow of late foremost human rights activist and Lagos Lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi, has revealed that her late husband predicted that the country would start experiencing bombing daily if the issue of security was not addressed, Vanguard reports.
Ganiyat, who spoke at a briefing ahead of the annual three-day memorial programme for the late activist, said if the Nigerian government had adhered to the warnings of her husband before he died, the country would not be experiencing the current insurgency.

She blamed President Goodluck Jonathan for allowing terrorism to thrive in the country, saying former President Olusegun Obasanjo would have stopped the activities of the insurgents if he were to be in power.
The late activist died on September 5th, 2009 of a cancer-related ailment.
