Abuja - Several people have been killed and others injured in multiple bomb explosion that occurred at Dadin Kowa and Station Dukku motor parks in Gombe State.
National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) information officer in charge of the Gombe office, Umar Madigawa, confirmed the incidents.
“The explosions were three but at two motor parks, Dadin Kowa and Station Dukku. I cannot give you the number of casualties right now but men from our office and the Red Cross are involved in evacuating the dead bodies and injured to the hospital," Madigawa said.
"One thing I can volunteer now is that several people were killed in the explosions and many persons injured.”

He added that the rescue workers were still involved in evacuating the dead from the scene of the incidents and assisting the injured to the hospital.
Spokesperson for the state' Police Command, Fwaje Atajiri, also confirmed the incident.
He said the explosion occurred at Dadin-Kowa Motor Park, along Biu Road in Gombe metropolis.
“Yes I can confirm to you that the incident occurred round 19:40 hrs. We do not have casualty details now but just know that an explosion has occurred and the details will be made known to you in due course,” Atajiri said.
He added that the area had been cordoned and the Police, Red Cross and other emergency workers were conveying survivors to hospital for medical attention.
