Birnin Kebbi - Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi has called on traditional leaders to support his administration in the efforts to improve the living conditions of the people and develop the State.

The governor said he would improve electricity supply through effective collaboration with PHCN, adding that the state had purchased 70 transformers to upgrade power distribution.

He said he would transform the state into the center of rice production by providing inputs to farmers.

He said N200 billion would be invested in it to attract investors to the state.

On verification of local government staff, Bagudu dismissed insinuations that it was a witch hunt, saying it was geared towards a reform of the local government financial system for execution of people oriented- projects.
