Gov. Ganduje inaugurates Kano State Assembly Complex

Kano - Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Monday inaugurated a N240-million state assembly office complex at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano.

At the inauguration, Ganduje said the office was constructed to ease the work and operations of the 8th Assembly in the state.

He said the building would also create conducive environment for the legislators and workers, thereby improving productivity.

He added that "it is my prayer that this befitting building will serve its purpose."

The governor urged the lawmakers to make laws that would move the state forward and called for their support, saying "I will ensure that all government policies pass through the hallowed chambers."

The Speaker of the House, Alhaji Kabiru Rurum, pledged to work with the executive arm of government in order to transform the state to greater height.

"We want to pledge our cooperation with the executive to transform the state to greater height for the benefit of all." he said.
