Abuja - The federal government has debunked claims that the abducted Chibok school girls are responsible for the recent suicide bombings in the north, Vanguard reports
The co-ordinator of National Information Centre, Mike Omeri, during a routine security briefing, alongside representatives of security forces in Abuja, said that the Chibok girls are not being used as suicide bombers in Kano.
Former Education minister, and co-coordinator of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign, Professor Oby Ezekwesili, had expressed worry that the abducted girls might be used by the terrorists for suicide bombings considering the inability of the government to rescue them.
