Abuja - The proposed strike by the the Joint Health Sector Unions & Assembly of Healthcare Professionals will be shelved as the federal government has acceded to its demands, Vanguard reports.
The executives of the union made the announcement after a series of deliberation with representatives of the federal government.
The union had given the federal government a 30-day ultimatum to accede to its demands or it would direct all its members to go on strike.
