Egharevba listed the programmes to include the hosting of the Federation of African Chemical Societies International Conference in Abuja in September 2015; hosting of the American Chemical Society Festival of Chemistry in Abuja in September 2015; the National Essay Competition, Chemistry Quiz Competition and Award/ Dinner Night and the establishment of a functional secretariat as well as the Chemical Societies of Nigeria Abuja Newsletter.

He further noted that the society has solicited for the equipping of the office space to make it a functional secretariat; adding that it has acquired a bus for the Chapter Secretariat to help in the actualization of the above programmes.

Bulama meanwhile called on members of the society to link up with research institutes across the nation and steadfastly support government’s effort at strengthening science and technology in the nation.
