Lagos - LAGBUS Asset Management Ltd., operators of LAGBUS metro buses in Lagos State, said it would fix all faulty buses and replace old engines for better service delivery.
The Managing Director of the company, Babatunde Disu, made the disclosure in an interview in Lagos
He said there were improvements in the conditions of the buses and services rendered to commuters because of regular maintenance and training of staff.
"We want to fix our buses this year, it is our primary goal.We will buy better engines to replace the old ones and this, of course, will make the buses serve residents of Lagos better." he said
Disu said the company had been training and retraining its ground staff and bus captains to serve residents better.
"We want to implore the public to report any of our drivers found violating traffic regulations or driving recklessly."
The managing director said the company had resolved to undertake regular maintenance of the buses, and urged commuters to assist in keeping the buses neat.
