Nasarawa - Suspected Fulani herdsmen reportedly ambushed and killed over 32 people in Arikya-Soni, Nasarawa State, Punch reports.
The gunmen killed their victims on their way back from the farms early in the morning, and seized nine motorcycles belonging to the deceased persons.
A mass burial was yesterday conducted for the victims after their remains were recovered at Umme, at about 1 pm.

A lawmaker representing Nasarawa Eggon East in the state House of Assembly, Mohammed Muluku, while lamenting the killings, appealed to Federal Government to set up a permanent military base in the area to avert future attacks.
