Homosexuality: Nigerian Anglican Church threatens to breakaway

Abuja - The Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion has threatened to breakaway from the Church of England over the Church's decision to elevate gay priests to bishops, Vanguard reports.

The Church of England had announced that it would allow gay clergy to become bishops if they promise to be celibate.

The decision has been condemned by Conservative evangelical Anglicans.
