Lagos - Five people were killed while several others sustained various degrees of injury when hoodlums clashed in Amukoko-Ajegunle areas of Lagos, Vanguard reports.
The hoodlums from Apasa, Alaba and Amukoko areas of the state, who were armed with sophisticated rifles, pistols and machetes, also destroyed property worth millions of naira in the clash.

It was learnt that the hoodlums were fighting over the control of motor and tricycle parks in the area.
Resident of these areas have blamed the continued hostilities by the hoodlums on politicians in the area, who engaged their services for political ends.
