“The violence has led to an influx of people from the affected areas to Lafia, Akwanga, Wamba, Doma and Obi Local Government Areas,” a source said.
Residents blamed the state government and the security agencies for not taking proactive measures to check the spread of the crisis.
However, police reported normalcy had been restored in the affected areas.
Two deaths were confirmed.
