Owerri - The
Imo State governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has announced he will build a
special school for blind and partially sighted people in the state, completion date is pegged for the end of May 2014, Daily Post reports.
This statement came as Governor Okorocha hosted members of the
Nigeria Association of the Blind, at the Imo State chapter at the government
House in Owerri.
Education and employment
opportunities were also promised to the marginalized group assuring them that states support would provide them with a sense of belonging.
