Imo college opens ICT centre

Abuja - The Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education (AIFCE) in Owerri has commissioned a fully equipped Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre.

First City Merchant Bank (FCMB), built the centre, which is poised to enhance the quality of ICT education at one of Imo State's leading institutions.

Speaking during the commissioning of the centre, Provost of the college, Dr Blessing Ijioma, lauded the financial institution for the initiative, which forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme (CSR).

He urged other banks in the country to follow the example FCMB set by opening such centres at other educational institutions in the country.
AIFCE prides itself in providing the best of education in a clean and healthy environment.

According to the college, it believes in promoting the development of the total person through teaching, training and research for positive change in the society.
