Nasarawa - Embattled Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, has reportedly sought the intervention of President Goodluck Jonathan over the impeachment process against him, Leadership reports.
Al-Makura, who was served impeachment notice by the State House of Assembly over alleged gross misconduct, met with his aides and party officials before leaving the state capital for Abuja on Tuesday.
It was gathered that State House of Assembly would serve its impeachment notice on the governor through the media, following alleged inability of the Clerk of the House to serve the governor personally with the notice.
