Abuja - The embattled Adamawa State governor, Murtala Nyako, has stated that he will seek the assistance of President Goodluck Jonathan over the impeachment plot against him, Tribune reports.
Nyako, who attended the National Council of State meeting on Tuesday, alongside some other governors, was at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday to attend the launch of the steering committee of the Safe Schools Initiative.
The Adamawa governor, who decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), said the issue was still before the court and he expects the lawmakers to abide by the law.
