Abuja – Yobe State’s Joint Task Force (JTF) has stated that they will deploy more soldiers in the state, AllAfrica reports.
Lazarus Eli, the spokesman of JTF, revealed that the JTF are on high alert in case of any attack by hoodlums. This follows activities of Boko Haram in Borno State where 52 people were killed during the weekend.
The JTF has increased patrol in Damaturu, the state capital, as well in other major towns in the state. Checkpoints have also been established to carry out stop and search operations.
