Lagos - President Goodluck Jonathan has been advised by the
representative of the Lagos APC Babatunde Adewale to deploy more of the
military to states that are troubled by insurgency, Vanguard reported.
Adewale further advised that there is an act called Armed Forces Act that gives
the president the power to deploy more troops to states that need to be

This comes after Adamawa, Yobe and Borno States came under attack by extremists
Boko Haram. Further he suggested that it was up to the president to extend the
state of emergency in the affected states.
