Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has rubbished reports that the offices of the first ladies get funds from the federal government to execute its project, Punch reports.
Jonathan made the disclosure while reacting to comment on social media platforms that the office of the first lady across the country have become a platform in which public funds are siphoned away under the pretence of executing 'elephant projects.'

The president said that the platform has become veritable means of mobilising women for national development and to show his support for women, his administration appointed women into key political offices.
