Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the redeployment of six permanent secretaries.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja and signed by Mr Tope Ajakaiye, the Deputy Director (Press and Public Relations) in the office of the Head of Service.
Those affected are Mrs Ibukun Odusote, who has been moved from the Ministry of Environment to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, and Mr Taye Haruna of Police Service Commission, who moves to the Ministry of Environment.
Others are Mr Linus Awute from the Ministry of Interior to the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, while Mrs A Daniel-Nwaobia, formally in the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, moves to the Ministry of Interior
Similarly, Mr Ossi Afamefuna moves from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties) to Ministry of Women Affairs.
The statement said that Dr Henry Akpan, a newly appointed Permanent Secretary, was posted to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties).
It quoted Isa Sali, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation as saying that all handing and taking over formalities should be completed on or before Wednesday, July 18.
