Abuja - The Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger
Delta Affairs, Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman has stated that President Goodluck
Jonathan will sign into law the Disability Law, Premium Times reported.
The bill will be passed by the current National Assembly as the president has
shown much concern about the well being of disabled people in the country.

The bill will be titled " A Bill for An Bill for an Act to ensure full
integration of Persons with Disability into the society".
Abatemi-Usman states that it is only correct if the bill is signed so the
country can be in line with the same framework the United Nations has on the
rights of disabled people.
Society is encouraged to continue to support disabled people and give them a
sense of belonging in the communities they live in.
