Abuja - The family of an Ogun teenager who was set ablaze by his manager has petitioned the Ogun State Police Commissioner for justice on the matter.
The victim, Emmanuel Ezekiel (13), was alleged to have been set ablaze following a dispute with his bar manager over missing funds. The teen later passed away from his injuries.
The perpetrator of the incident, Bidemi Shittu, has been on the run ever since the matter was brought to light.

Although officials have revealed that investigations into the matter are currently underway, the family of the deceased does not feel like this is enough.
According to a PUNCH report, family correspondent Vincent Ogunmola has urged police not to overlook the matter and has alleged that officials from the Ibafo division had aided the suspect in fleeing.
Muyiwa Adejobi, Police spokesperson, has stated that the police are still looking into the whereabouts of the suspect and added that the suspect's father, who also happens to be an executive of the Police Community Relations Committee, has been suspended for six months until he can hand over his son to officials.
