Kaduna - Mr Saidu Adamu, the Commissioner for Information in Kaduna State, says the state government has reinstated statewide 24-hour curfew following fresh youth restiveness in parts of the state.
The commissioner told newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday that the restoration would enable security agencies to maintain peace in some parts of the state.
According to him, 24-hour curfew was imposed on the state on Sunday but was later relaxed by 12 hours on Monday.
He said some youths in Trikania and Gonin-Gora in Kaduna attacked residents and travellers on the Abuja-Kaduna High Way in protest against the Sunday explosion in three worship centres.
He said the situation had been brought under control following the deployment of security personnel to Tudun Wada, Tudun Nupawa, Badiko, Rigassa and Kaduna Central Market.
