Kidnapped victim rescued in Ogun

Ogun - A female kidnap victim was rescued from her painful ordeal by police and a member of her kidnapper's gang was also arrested, PremiumTimes reported.

The woman, Abosede Adengua, was kidnapped in Lagos on Monday evening and was taken to the gang's hang out in Ogun the same night.

Police were able to bust the kidnapping through the Special Anti-Robbery Squad which ambushed the gang and people from the community.

Some several items that were found at the location include a locally made gun which was loaded with live cartridges and a stolen car which was used by the kidnappers.

Commissioner of Police, Val Ntomchukwu, has commended police who worked on the case and were able to find the woman alive. He further expressed that the case will be investigated properly to find the other missing gang members.
