Kogi - Kogi State Government is upbeat the Confluence Bridge will increase investments into the state.

The bridge is expected to link Ganaja in Ajaokuta Local Government Area to Shintakun in Basa Local Government Area of the state.
The State Governor Idris Wada said the bridge would open up for the development of the state to investors.
He noted that it would help to develop Lokoja to a modern state capital city, adding out that it would also boost socio-economic activities of the state and also create jobs for the youths when economic activities are on the rise.
“When completed Kogi state will rise to become an industrial giant of the North Central geopolitical zone as it would attract more investors to the state,” Wada said.
The project would be executed under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) in conjunction with the Kogi State government and some financial institutions.
